Rooted is a simple, proven method to make disciples. It’s not just a Bible study or a book, but a 10-week small group experience that connects people to God, the church, and their purpose. Individuals establish firm roots in the Truth of God’s Word through personal study and then come together to discuss what they’re learning in a space where they are safe and known.
The Rooted team initially approached us to get help designing the books that make up the Rooted curriculum, which soon turned into conversations around product strategy and branding. We ended up redesigning their entire product line and helping them launch their follow-up product to Rooted—Life in Rhythm. As their partner in ministry, we’ve worked with the Rooted team to develop strategic customer journeys and optimize their email marketing automation to get Rooted in the hands of as many people as possible. We also streamlined the design of all their products and created a cross-platform mobile experience to make the curriculum even easier to access. We’re proud to play a role in supporting one of the fastest-growing discipleship programs used today.

We used design thinking to run a design sprint that led to creating a cohesive look for all the books in the original Rooted curriculum. We also developed a cross-platform mobile experience so anyone could access the same content digitally.
Life in Rhythm, the second product in the Rooted curriculum series, is a brand new tool we helped launch that empowers individuals to integrate the 7 Rhythms of Rooted into the two spheres in which we spend most of our lives—work and family. We developed a full marketing campaign and strategy, landing page, customized card deck, social media assets, and curated Spotify playlist to promote the book. In the pre-sale for Life in Rhythm, 20% of the inventory sold in just 48 hours.
The Rooted Facilitator Guide is the supporting material for the individual facilitators of Rooted groups and includes tips and suggestions for leading a group and facilitating Rooted successfully. We designed the inside of the guide as well as the cover.
Rooted uses the Launch Intensives Guide at their live training events to help coach church leaders who have begun or completed their pilot program and are moving towards an all-church launch. We designed the inside of the guide, the front cover, and a launchpad document that provides a roadmap highlighting the top milestones for each phase of the journey.

Know people who know you. That’s the heartbeat behind Slingshot’s new website, which we strategically designed and developed to capture Slingshot Group’s personality, specialties, and unique advantage when it comes to providing staffing and coaching for churches and ministries. We took the old website and completely updated the branding and messaging to appeal to Slingshot’s target market, showcase a variety of helpful resources, and make the site easier to navigate.
Remarkable things happen when people love what they do. This was the core idea behind the WorkJoy campaign, which included a dedicated landing page, white paper, and videos from the Slingshot staff released through an email series that ended up generating 1,000 new leads.
The IMPROVleadership™ coaching model is based on five leadership competencies that when applied, initiate powerful conversations, create memorable moments, and craft personal coaching strategies that help people grow and teams excel year after year. Our team not only helped develop the model, but strategically turned IMPROVleadership™ into an online course, including designing print collateral, directing the videos, and creating other physical leadership tools to accompany the training. We also developed a holistic marketing strategy for the release of the new book based on the coaching—Improv Leadership: How to Lead Well in Every Moment.
